Entry examinations

Information on timing of the Unified State Exam for persons without results of the Unified State Exam

In accordance with the Decree of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation dated January 22, 2013 No 26 “On approval of the timing and unified schedule of the Unified State Exam, its duration on each liberal art, list of additional facilities and materials, which are allowed at the Unified State Exam on separate liberal arts in 2013” (registered by the Ministry of Justice on February 27, 2013 under No 27372), schedule of the Unified State Exam of 2013 was approved.

“…1. To approve the following schedule of the Unified State Exam (the “USE”) in 2013:

…1.2. For graduate students of current year; students of the educational institutions of the basic and secondary professional education successfully completing the Federal State Educational Standard of the secondary (full) general education within the scope of basic professional educational programs; graduate students of educational institutions of the past with diplomas on secondary (full) basic professional education, including students with valid certificate of USE results (the “Graduates of the Past Years”); citizens with secondary (full) general education completed in the educational institutions of foreign states:

  • May 27 (Monday) - Russian language;
  • May 30 (Thursday) – Computer Science and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), biology, history;
  • June 3 (Monday) – Math;
  • June 6 (Thursday) – foreign languages (English, French, German, Spanish), Physics;
  • June 10 (Monday) – Social Science, Chemistry;
  • June 13 (Thursday) – Geography, Literature.

1.3. For Graduates of the past years, graduates of educational institutions of the basic and secondary professional education, citizens with secondary (full) general education completed in educational institutions of foreign states, which were unable to pass the Unified State Exam within the terms specified in Clause 1.2 of present Decree:

  • July 8 (Monday) – Russian language, Chemistry, History, Computer Science, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT);
  • July 10 (Wednesday) – Math, Geography, foreign languages (English, French, German, Spanish);
  • • July 12 (Friday) - Social Sciences, Literature, Biology, Physics.

1.4. For participants of the Unified State Exam, which are entitled to recurrent admission to the Unified State Exam in current year:

  • May 6 (Monday) – on all liberal arts;
  • June 15 (Saturday)- Computer Science, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Biology, History, Physics, foreign languages (English, French, German, Spanish);
  • June 17 (Monday)- Social Science, Geography, Literature, Chemistry;
  • June 18 (Tuesday) – Russian language;
  • June 19 (Wednesday) – Math;
  • July 8 (Monday)- Russian language, Chemistry, History, Computer Science, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT);
  • July 10 (Wednesday) – Math, Geography, foreign languages ((English, French, German, Spanish);
  • July 12 (Friday) – Social Science, Literature, Biology, Physics;
  • July 15 (Monday) – on all liberal arts.

2. To establish the following:

2.1. If timing of the Unified State Exam on separate liberal arts coincides, participants of the Unified State Exam are admitted to the Unified State Exam on relevant liberal arts within the terms provided for in Clause 1.4 of this Decree.

2.2. The Unified State Exam on all liberal arts starts at 10.00 local time.

2.3. Duration of the Unified State Exam on Math, Physics, Literature, Computer Science, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) comprises 3 hours and 55 minutes (235 minutes); on Russian language, History, and Social Science comprises 3 hours and 30 minutes (210 minutes); on Biology, Geography, Chemistry, foreign languages ((English, French, German, Spanish) comprises 3 hours (180 minutes).

2.4. НAt the Unified State Exam the following additional means and materials are allowed: Math – the ruler; Physics – ruler and non-programmable calculator; Chemistry - non-programmable calculator; Geography – ruler, graduated arc, non-programmable calculator…”
