Information on forms and rules for conducting of the entry examinations for foreign citizens

Foreign citizens enter the Institute subject to the “Rules for admission of foreign citizens to NEI HPE “Restoration Art Institute” under the higher professional education programs of all modes of study” approved at the meeting of the Academic Board, Minutes No 4 dated April 15, 2014 (the “Admission Rules”).

Purpose of the Entry Examinations is to determine ability of the foreign citizens to pass relevant professional educations programs. All entry examinations are carried out in the Russian language.

Entry examinations for foreign citizens enrolling to the Institute under the Contracts of Preparation to the Bachelor’s shall be carried out in form of interview.

Interview is carried out on Math and Russian language on July 22 and 23, accordingly, by the Admission Board approved by the Provost Decree. Special Examination Board includes at least two teachers of vocation-related subjects.

If foreign citizens have passed the Unified State Exam on relevant liberal arts in current year, Higher Educational Institution shall consider the results of the Unified State Exam as the results of entry exams on such liberal arts and shall not admit the above persons to entry exams, form of which shall be determined solely by the Higher Educational Institution.

Foreign citizens enrolling to the freshman’s course based on results of the entry exams, form of which shall be determined solely by the Higher Educational Institution, may apply to one Higher Educational Institution and participate in the competition simultaneously on three majors (specialties), under which basic educational programs in the Higher Educational Institution are realized.

Foreign citizens arriving in the Russian Federation for education without any directions of the Ministry of the Education and Science of Russia may participate in the competition and may be admitted to NEI HPE “Restoration Art Institute” for paid places. Decision on admission to the exams and terms of execution of the direct contracts shall be taken by the Admission Board in each particular case depending on possibilities of the institute.

Form and the list of entry exams for foreign citizens correspond to Clause 1 and 2 of the Admission Rules of 2014.

If foreign citizens are provided with results of the Unified State Exam on liberal arts included by the Higher Educational Institution in the list of entry exams for relevant major or specialty, Higher Educational Institution shall consider results of the Unified State Exam as results of the entry exams on such liberal arts.

Upon termination of acceptance of the documents from foreign citizens, the Admission Board shall prepare the list of interview participants.

Foreign citizen, who did not show up at the entry exams for reasonable excuse, shall be admitted to exams individually under personal application.

Special commission approved by the Provost Decree shall control interviewing process. Duration of the interviewing process is maximum 3 hours. Interview results shall be access by 100-point grading scale.

Foreign citizens, who disagree with results, may appeal in the name of the Chairman of the Admission Board on the next days following the interview day.
